Cloud Engineer

Job Description

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure supporting stc’s digital transformation initiatives. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions while optimizing performance and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to automate deployments and improve cloud operations. This position requires expertise in public cloud platforms, automation, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
Manage cloud resources across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and costs.
Implement cloud security policies and identity management.
Support disaster recovery and backup strategies.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
Troubleshoot cloud platform issues and recommend improvements.
