Business Development Manager
Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities that support business growth. The role involves market research, customer development, strategic partnerships, and management of business opportunities. The manager builds relationships with customers and stakeholders while evaluating market trends and competitive developments. The position works closely with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and other teams to convert opportunities into sustainable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities across relevant energy, mobility, retail, and commercial markets.
Research market trends, customer needs, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Prepare business cases, commercial proposals, presentations, and growth strategies.
Lead negotiations with customers, partners, and other commercial stakeholders.
Develop strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Monitor sales pipelines, business-development targets, and commercial performance.
Work with internal teams to develop solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Evaluate commercial risks, financial opportunities, and potential return on investment.
Provide management with regular reports on pipeline development, market opportunities, and business performance.
