BIM Manager
Job Description
The BIM Manager will lead Building Information Modelling activities for airport infrastructure, construction, renovation, and engineering projects. The role ensures that BIM standards, models, documentation, and information workflows are consistently applied throughout the project lifecycle. The position works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and airport stakeholders to maintain accurate digital representations of airport assets. The role also supports digital coordination, clash detection, construction planning, asset information management, and operational handover.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement BIM standards, processes, workflows, and project execution plans.
Manage BIM coordination across architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and airport-specialist disciplines.
Review BIM models and ensure compliance with project requirements and information standards.
Coordinate multidisciplinary models and identify design conflicts through clash detection.
Manage BIM deliverables from consultants, contractors, and engineering partners.
Establish and maintain common data environment workflows for project information.
Coordinate BIM requirements throughout design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Ensure accurate asset information is incorporated into final BIM and digital asset records.
Support integration of BIM data with airport facilities and asset-management systems.
Conduct BIM coordination meetings and track resolution of technical issues.
Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM standards and modelling practices.
Monitor BIM quality, model integrity, data consistency, and information exchange requirements.
