Parts & Inventory Manager

Job Description

The Parts & Inventory Manager oversees the availability, storage, control, and distribution of automotive parts and materials required for vehicle servicing and aftersales operations.
The role ensures that the right parts are available at the right time while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and controlling operational costs.
The manager coordinates with suppliers, warehouses, service departments, and purchasing teams to maintain an efficient parts supply chain.
The position also focuses on inventory accuracy, demand forecasting, stock optimization, and high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Manage automotive parts inventory and warehouse operations.
Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of critical replacement parts.
Develop inventory planning and replenishment strategies.
Coordinate parts purchasing and supplier relationships.
Track incoming and outgoing parts using inventory management systems.
Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, and excess inventory.
Coordinate with service teams to fulfill parts requirements efficiently.
Monitor inventory costs and implement stock optimization measures.
Ensure proper storage, handling, identification, and security of automotive parts.
Prepare inventory, purchasing, demand, and performance reports.
Lead and train parts and warehouse personnel to maintain efficient operations.
