Contracts Manager
Job Description
The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of commercial and contractual agreements related to renewable energy and infrastructure projects. The role ensures contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and project objectives while minimizing commercial risks. The Contracts Manager works closely with project managers, procurement teams, legal counsel, and external contractors to ensure successful contract execution. This position plays a critical role in protecting the company’s commercial interests and supporting timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and administer EPC, O&M, consultancy, and supplier contracts.
Ensure all contractual agreements comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Support procurement and project teams during tendering and contract negotiations.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Manage contract variations, amendments, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
Collaborate with legal advisors on complex contractual matters and litigation support.
Maintain accurate contract documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide commercial guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual obligations and rights.
Prepare regular contract status reports and support project governance activities.
