Parts & Inventory Manager

Job Description

The Parts & Inventory Manager will manage the availability, storage, ordering, control, and distribution of automotive spare parts, accessories, and related inventory. The role is responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory, shortages, damage, and unnecessary costs. The manager will coordinate with workshops, suppliers, logistics teams, dealerships, and procurement functions to ensure parts are available when required. Effective inventory planning and accurate stock management will directly support efficient automotive service and repair operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily automotive parts and accessories inventory operations.
Monitor stock levels, demand patterns, reorder points, and inventory availability.
Coordinate parts purchasing and replenishment with approved suppliers.
Ensure critical parts are available for workshop repair and service requirements.
Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged parts, obsolete inventory, and shortages.
Maintain accurate inventory records within relevant ERP or inventory-management systems.
Coordinate incoming parts deliveries, storage, picking, and distribution.
Analyze inventory turnover and identify opportunities to reduce carrying costs.
