Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Technical Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and support of our innovative lighting products and systems. This individual will work closely with R&D, sales, and production teams to ensure the technical integrity and successful implementation of our lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Technical Documentation & Standards:
○ Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including product specifications, datasheets, installation guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
○ Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards (UL, CE, IEC) and regulations.
○ Stay updated on emerging lighting technologies and industry trends.
● Testing and Quality Assurance:
○ Perform rigorous testing of lighting products to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
○ Analyze test data, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
○ Support quality control processes throughout the product life cycle.
● Technical Sales Support:
○ Provide expert technical support to the sales team, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and answers to complex customer inquiries.
○ Assist in the development of technical proposals and solutions for specific project requirements.
○ Conduct product training for internal teams and external partners.
● Customer Support & Troubleshooting:
○ Offer advanced technical support to customers, installers, and distributors for product troubleshooting and issue resolution.
○ Analyze field failures and provide root cause analysis.
○ Develop and implement corrective actions to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
● Customer Support & Troubleshooting):
○ Manage technical aspects of specific lighting projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical specifications.
○ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
● 2 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within the lighting, electronics, or related manufacturing industry.
● Strong understanding of LED technology, optical design principles, power electronics, and control systems.
● Proficiency in relevant software tools ( AutoCAD, SolidWorks, DIALux/AGI32, SPICE simulations).
● Experience with testing equipment ( oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, spectroradiometers).
● Knowledge of industry standards and regulations ( UL, CE, RoHS, ErP).
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
● Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
● Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
● Experience with smart lighting systems, IoT, and network protocols ( DMX, DALI, Zigbee).
● Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
● Fluency in multiple languages
