Geologist

Job Description

A Geologist at SLB applies geological expertise and advanced logging technologies to evaluate subsurface formations, determine reservoir architecture, and assess hydrocarbon potential. The role involves working closely with geoscientists, engineers, and clients to support exploration, drilling, and production activities.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate geological prospects and reservoir potential.
Interpret geological, petrophysical, and seismic data.
Prepare surface and subsurface geological maps.
Develop structural and stratigraphic models.
Perform seismic interpretation and geological analysis.
Conduct rock property and facies modeling studies.
Support well planning and reservoir characterization.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and customers to solve subsurface challenges.
Utilize advanced geological and reservoir software tools.
