HSE Officer

Job Description

The HSE Officer is responsible for supporting a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace across Safran operations. The role monitors workplace activities, identifies potential hazards, and promotes compliance with health and safety procedures. The officer works with employees and management to reduce workplace risks and improve safety performance. The position also supports environmental programs, inspections, incident investigations, and employee safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures at the facility.
Conduct workplace inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Perform risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazardous occurrences.
Develop and monitor corrective and preventive safety actions.
Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and employee awareness programs.
Monitor compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, inspection documents, and incident statistics.
Support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and response procedures.
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
