HSE Manager

Job Description

The HSE Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental protection, and operational risk management. The position supports safe offshore and onshore activities associated with oil and gas production and development. The role requires strong coordination with operating partners, contractors, engineering teams, and management to identify and control operational risks. The HSE Manager also promotes a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems and procedures.
Monitor compliance with applicable offshore, environmental, and occupational safety regulations.
Conduct HSE risk assessments, audits, inspections, and assurance activities.
Identify operational hazards and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
Support incident, near-miss, and accident investigations and track corrective actions.
Develop and monitor emergency preparedness and response plans.
Work with contractors and operating partners to maintain consistent HSE standards.
Monitor environmental performance, emissions, waste management, and pollution-prevention initiatives.
Provide HSE training, guidance, and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
Prepare HSE performance reports and recommend continuous-improvement initiatives.
Promote a strong safety culture throughout projects and production operations.
