HSE Specialist

Job Description

The HSE Specialist supports Gasum’s operations by promoting high standards of health, safety, environmental protection, and risk management.
The role works closely with employees, contractors, and management to identify hazards and strengthen safe working practices.
The specialist contributes to HSE programs, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and compliance activities.
The position helps ensure that operational activities meet company standards and applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct workplace inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Support investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
Provide HSE training, guidance, and awareness sessions to employees.
Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
Maintain HSE records, reports, statistics, and documentation.
Participate in internal and external HSE audits.
Work with contractors to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
