HSE Manager

Job Description

The HSE Manager leads health, safety, environmental, and operational risk management activities across oil and gas operations.
The role ensures that employees, contractors, facilities, and operations comply with applicable HSE standards and regulations.
The manager develops HSE programs, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement in workplace safety.
The position also supports incident prevention, emergency preparedness, environmental protection, and safety culture development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, standards, and improvement programs.
Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
Monitor workplace hazards and implement appropriate risk-control measures.
Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental events.
Develop corrective and preventive action plans and monitor their implementation.
Ensure contractors and employees comply with HSE requirements.
Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness activities.
Monitor environmental performance, waste management, emissions, and pollution prevention.
Deliver HSE training, awareness programs, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns.
