Solar Project Development Manager

Job Description

The Solar Project Development Manager is responsible for leading utility-scale solar energy projects from initial feasibility through development and pre-construction. The role involves coordinating with technical teams, government authorities, investors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The manager oversees project schedules, budgets, permitting activities, and commercial negotiations while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. This position plays a key role in supporting Masdar’s global renewable energy expansion strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of solar power projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
Coordinate permitting, environmental approvals, and land acquisition.
Prepare project schedules, budgets, and development plans.
Manage engineering consultants and external contractors.
Collaborate with finance and commercial teams on project investments.
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability goals.
