Parts & Inventory Manager

Job Description

The Parts & Inventory Manager will oversee the availability, storage, control, and distribution of automotive parts and materials.
The role is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages, excess stock, damage, and operational costs.
The manager will coordinate with suppliers, service departments, dealerships, warehouses, and procurement teams to maintain efficient parts availability.
The position requires strong inventory management, forecasting, supplier coordination, and team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily automotive parts inventory operations and warehouse activities.
Maintain appropriate stock levels based on service, sales, and operational requirements.
Monitor inventory accuracy, stock movements, shortages, excess stock, and obsolete parts.
Coordinate parts ordering, receiving, storage, picking, and distribution activities.
Work with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely parts availability.
Establish inventory control procedures and conduct regular stock audits.
Analyze demand patterns and prepare inventory forecasts and replenishment plans.
Monitor parts-related costs and identify opportunities to reduce inventory expenses.
Lead and develop parts and inventory staff while maintaining productivity standards.
Ensure proper documentation, storage practices, safety procedures, and system updates for all inventory activities.
