Process Engineer

Job Description

The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and improving Gasum’s energy and gas-processing operations.
The role focuses on process performance, efficiency, reliability, and safe operation of technical systems.
The engineer works with operations, maintenance, HSE, and other engineering teams to identify and resolve process issues.
The position also supports continuous improvement, technical studies, and implementation of new process solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze process performance and operational data.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and production performance.
Develop and maintain process calculations, models, and technical documentation.
Investigate process deviations, equipment problems, and operational incidents.
Support process optimization and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams on technical solutions.
Ensure process changes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in commissioning, modification, and improvement projects.
Prepare technical reports, analyses, and recommendations for management.
Support risk assessments and process-safety activities.
