Corporate Accountant Officer
Job Description
The Corporate Accountant Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role supports budgeting, financial analysis, reconciliations, and statutory reporting while working closely with finance leadership. The position contributes to efficient financial operations and assists in achieving organizational financial objectives. Attention to detail and strong accounting knowledge are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain the general ledger and accounting records.
Perform bank and account reconciliations.
Process journal entries and month-end closing activities.
Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare financial reports for management decision-making.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
