IT Project Manager
Job Description
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering technology projects within agreed scope, schedule, quality, and budget. The role requires coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership. The project manager manages risks, dependencies, resources, and project communications throughout the delivery lifecycle. The position plays an important role in ensuring that technology initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Manage project execution from initiation through completion.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, architects, testers, and infrastructure specialists.
Monitor project progress against timelines, budgets, scope, and quality objectives.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Conduct project meetings and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
Manage communication between internal teams, clients, vendors, and senior management.
Ensure project documentation, governance, and reporting requirements are maintained.
Support resource planning, workload allocation, and team performance management.
Drive corrective actions when projects experience delays, quality concerns, or scope changes.
