Destination Manager
Job Description
The Destination Manager is responsible for managing tourism activities and travel services within an assigned destination or market. The role involves coordinating local suppliers, tourism partners, hotels, transportation providers, and customer-service teams. The manager ensures that destination experiences meet operational, quality, and commercial expectations. The position also monitors tourism trends and develops opportunities to improve destination offerings and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage tourism operations and travel services within the assigned destination.
Develop and maintain relationships with hotels, tour operators, attractions, and local suppliers.
Coordinate destination activities, excursions, transportation, and customer services.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure agreed service standards are maintained.
Resolve destination-related operational issues and customer concerns.
Research local tourism trends, attractions, and market opportunities.
Support development of new destination products and travel experiences.
Monitor destination costs, supplier contracts, and operational budgets.
Work with marketing and commercial teams on destination promotions.
Collect customer and partner feedback and recommend service improvements.
