Factory OT Safety Compliance & Network Auditor

Job Description

The Factory OT Safety Compliance & Network Auditor will assess operational technology environments to ensure that industrial networks and connected systems follow established safety, security, and compliance requirements. The role will conduct audits of factory network architecture, access controls, connected devices, configurations, and operational procedures. The auditor will identify weaknesses that could affect plant safety, reliability, cybersecurity, or business continuity. The position will work with engineering, IT, OT, cybersecurity, and plant operations teams to track remediation and strengthen overall factory controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct periodic audits of factory OT networks and industrial control environments.
Review network architecture, segmentation, firewall rules, and connectivity controls.
Assess access privileges for OT systems, network devices, and industrial applications.
Identify configuration weaknesses, unauthorized connections, and compliance gaps.
Verify adherence to approved OT safety, cybersecurity, and operational procedures.
Review system logs, security events, configuration records, and audit evidence.
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and corrective actions.
Work with plant teams to develop and track remediation plans.
Verify implementation of corrective actions through follow-up assessments.
Support incident investigations involving industrial networks and connected equipment.
Maintain OT asset inventories, audit documentation, and compliance records.
Promote security awareness and safe operational practices among plant personnel.
