The Payment Posting Executive is responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments into the medical billing system. The role involves reconciling payments, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring financial records are updated correctly. The executive collaborates with billing and accounts receivable teams to maintain an efficient revenue cycle. Accuracy, attention to detail, and knowledge of healthcare payment processes are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Post insurance and patient payments accurately into billing software.
Reconcile payments with explanation of benefits (EOBs) and ERAs.
Identify payment variances, short payments, and denials.
Maintain accurate financial records and transaction logs.
Coordinate with AR teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
Ensure timely completion of payment posting activities.
Generate payment reconciliation reports for management.
Follow company policies and HIPAA compliance standards.
