Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate the movement, storage, tracking, and timely availability of vehicles, automotive parts, accessories, and other operational materials. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate logistics activities between warehouses, dealerships, suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments. The coordinator will monitor deliveries, resolve transportation issues, and maintain accurate logistics records. Logistics and transport are specifically identified by AMAG as one of its professional career areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of vehicles, parts, and materials.
Plan and monitor deliveries according to operational requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, warehouses, and internal teams.
Track shipments and provide timely updates on delivery status.
Resolve delays, transportation problems, damaged goods, and delivery discrepancies.
Maintain accurate logistics, shipment, inventory, and transportation documentation.
Support warehouse and distribution activities to ensure efficient material flow.
Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Ensure transportation activities comply with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Prepare logistics reports and performance information for management.
