Automotive Engineer

Job Description

The Automotive Engineer will support the development, evaluation, testing, and continuous improvement of automotive technologies, vehicles, and mobility solutions within AMAG Group. The role requires strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, electronics, mechanical components, and emerging automotive technologies. The engineer will work closely with technical, service, quality, and operational teams to improve vehicle performance, reliability, safety, and efficiency. The position is particularly relevant to AMAG’s evolving mobility environment, including electrification and digitally connected vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, evaluate, and improve automotive systems, components, and technical processes.
Analyze vehicle performance, technical issues, and engineering requirements.
Support testing and validation of vehicle systems and components.
Investigate technical faults and recommend effective engineering solutions.
Work with workshops and technical teams to resolve complex vehicle problems.
Maintain engineering documentation, technical reports, and test records.
Support projects involving electric vehicles, vehicle electronics, diagnostics, and new mobility technologies.
Monitor automotive technology developments and recommend relevant improvements.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal engineering stakeholders.
Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable safety, quality, and technical standards.
