Network Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

The Network Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, operate, and maintain network infrastructure supporting airport operations and passenger-facing services. The role covers LAN, WAN, wireless, routing, switching, network security, and associated connectivity technologies across a large and highly available airport environment. The engineer will troubleshoot complex network incidents and ensure reliable connectivity for critical systems, operational teams, and airport facilities. The position will also contribute to network upgrades, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and infrastructure modernization.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure.
Deploy and manage wired and wireless network infrastructure across airport facilities.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, and related equipment.
Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, latency, and utilization.
Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity problems, packet loss, and performance issues.
Implement network segmentation and connectivity controls in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
Support network infrastructure for airport operational systems and critical technology services.
Conduct network capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades.
Manage network configuration, documentation, diagrams, and technical standards.
Perform firmware, software, and hardware upgrades while minimizing operational disruption.
Coordinate with telecom providers, vendors, contractors, and internal technology teams.
Participate in network disaster recovery and business continuity exercises.
Support network monitoring, alerting, fault management, and performance reporting.
