Workshop Manager

Job Description

The Workshop Manager is responsible for the daily operational and commercial performance of a Bilia service or repair workshop. The role involves leading employees, planning workshop capacity, monitoring quality and ensuring that customer requirements are handled efficiently. The manager also has responsibility for budgets, costs and operational follow-up. Bilia describes its workshop managers as responsible for personnel leadership, financial performance, customer orientation and ensuring sufficient workshop activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise workshop employees and technicians.
Plan daily workshop production and resource allocation.
Monitor workshop productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
Develop and coach employees to improve performance.
Manage departmental budgets, costs and financial targets.
Ensure sufficient workload and efficient workshop utilization.
Establish and maintain workshop quality and safety standards.
Resolve operational and customer-related issues.
Coordinate activities between service advisors, technicians and parts teams.
Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements.
