Plant / Site Manager

Job Description

The Plant / Site Manager provides overall leadership for manufacturing or site operations, ensuring that production, quality, safety, financial, and delivery objectives are achieved. The role oversees multiple operational functions and ensures alignment with Safran’s strategic and operational requirements. The manager leads teams, manages resources, and drives operational excellence across the facility. The position also works with senior management, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support sustainable business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead overall plant/site operations and ensure achievement of business and operational objectives.
Develop and execute production, operational, and improvement strategies.
Manage plant performance against safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, company standards, and applicable legal requirements.
Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across production and support functions.
Manage operational budgets, resources, capital investments, and cost-control initiatives.
Review operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where performance targets are not achieved.
Promote Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement programs.
Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, quality, maintenance, finance, and commercial teams.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
