We are looking for a highly experienced Ticketing Assistant to join our team at VOLO Travel & Tourism (Member of ZMI Holdings).

As a Ticketing Assistant at VOLO, your main responsibility is to manage the travel & hotel bookings and arrangements for our offshore and onshore employees. The ideal candidate should have a passion for travel, having a proven working experience in similar role and familiar with related booking systems and capable of working under pressure with no or minimum level of supervision in addition to exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and book international and domestic flight and hotel bookings for our onshore and offshore employees.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure the best rates for travel.
• Manage inventory and pricing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Handle last-minute travel booking, changes and cancellations.
• Maintain records of travel expenses and ensure accurate billing and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s travel policies and budget.
• Provide solutions to travel related problems employees may have experienced with arrangements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in travel industry of corporate travel experience working on after office hours, including weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism and hospitality.
• AMADEUS experience required.
• Candidates should possess decisive and successful problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented and have effective communication skills, and ability of quick turnaround of urgent business-related request.
• Geography and international destination knowledge are a must.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft office.
• Familiarity with airline industry standards, including fare structure and travel regulations.
• Experience with ticketing, refund, changes, exchanged to complex multi-segment international and domestic fares.
