SCADA & Plant Automation Engineer

Job Description

Vem Technologies is looking for a skilled SCADA & Plant Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain industrial automation systems across manufacturing facilities. The role involves configuring SCADA applications, PLC programming, monitoring production systems, and improving plant efficiency. The candidate will collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to ensure reliable plant operations. This position requires strong technical expertise in industrial automation, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for manufacturing operations.
Develop and modify PLC programs to support automated production processes.
Monitor plant automation systems and resolve operational issues promptly.
Perform preventive maintenance on automation hardware and control systems.
Integrate sensors, HMIs, drives, and industrial communication networks.
Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation faults to minimize downtime.
Support automation upgrades and system modernization projects.
Prepare technical documentation, maintenance reports, and operating procedures.
