Automation & PLC Programmer

Job Description

Universal Electro-Engineering is seeking an experienced Automation & PLC Programmer to design, develop, and maintain industrial automation systems. The selected candidate will program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems while supporting installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. The role requires close collaboration with engineering and production teams to improve operational efficiency and system reliability. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of industrial automation standards and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify PLC programs for industrial automation projects.
Configure HMI and SCADA applications.
Perform system testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
Troubleshoot PLC, communication, and automation-related issues.
Integrate sensors, drives, and control equipment.
Prepare automation documentation and technical reports.
Optimize system performance and production efficiency.
Coordinate with project engineers during installation and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards.
Provide technical support and operator training.
