Production Manager

About the Role:

The UAE National Orchestra is seeking a Production Manager to ensure the logistical, technical, and organizational success of our performances. This role is key in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all live performances, rehearsals, and events, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the artistic success of each performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the production schedule, coordinating rehearsals, performances, and special events

• Oversee logistical aspects, including transportation, storage, and setup of instruments, equipment, and stage props

• Manage technical aspects of productions, including sound, lighting, and stage setups

• Create and manage the production budget, ensuring all activities are delivered on time and within budget constraints

• Lead the production team and ensure effective communication across all departments

• Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and live events to minimize disruptions

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and legal requirements

• Collaborate with the artistic, technical, and marketing teams to promote performances and ensure alignment of artistic and logistical elements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years in production management, with at least 3-4 years in an operations management role within the music, events, or arts industry.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, technical requirements, and logistical coordination for live performances.

• Experience in managing live performances for orchestras or large-scale arts productions is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in project management and event scheduling software.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English (Arabic language proficiency is a plus but not a must)
