Retail Store Manager

Job Description

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and commercial performance of a TUI Travel Shop. The role combines people management, holiday sales, customer service, operational control, and achievement of commercial targets. The manager coaches and motivates the team to provide personalized travel advice and create high-quality customer experiences. The position is also responsible for maintaining store standards, managing performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the TUI Travel Shop.
Coach, motivate, and develop travel consultants and retail team members.
Drive holiday sales and achieve store revenue, conversion, and profitability targets.
Monitor individual and team performance against agreed commercial KPIs.
Support staff in providing personalized holiday recommendations and excellent customer service.
Manage customer enquiries, complaints, escalations, and complex booking situations.
Ensure accurate handling of bookings, payments, customer records, and other transactions.
Implement TUI promotions, campaigns, seasonal offers, and merchandising standards.
Manage staffing schedules, workloads, attendance, and day-to-day team requirements.
Ensure the shop maintains high standards of presentation, organization, and compliance.
Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion and revenue.
Ensure team members follow TUI policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer-service standards.
