Cloud Engineer

Job Description

The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services environments. The role focuses on building secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions. The engineer will work closely with development, DevOps, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to support cloud-based applications and services. Automation and infrastructure-as-code practices will be important components of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
Configure and manage cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services.
Implement cloud security controls, identity management, and access policies.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
Monitor cloud environments for availability, performance, and capacity.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
Optimize cloud resource utilization and infrastructure costs.
Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployments.
Develop backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Maintain cloud architecture documentation and recommend infrastructure improvements.
