R&D Engineer

Job Description

The R&D Engineer will support the development, optimization and technical transfer of pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing processes. The role combines engineering expertise with scientific and manufacturing knowledge to improve process robustness, scalability and efficiency. The engineer will collaborate with R&D, MSAT, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering teams throughout development and commercialization activities. Sanofi’s Singapore careers currently include CMC Development and MSAT roles, while its Modulus facility supports advanced vaccine and biologics manufacturing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Support development and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Conduct technical assessments and evaluate process performance.
Analyze process data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support scale-up, process characterization and technology transfer activities.
Collaborate with MSAT, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering teams.
Participate in development experiments, engineering runs and process studies.
Support investigation of process deviations and technical issues.
Prepare technical reports, protocols and development documentation.
Contribute to process validation and commercialization activities.
Apply scientific and engineering principles to improve process robustness.
Support implementation of innovative technologies and digital manufacturing solutions.
