Supply Chain Planner
Job Description
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for coordinating material requirements, production schedules, inventory levels, and supplier deliveries to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role balances customer demand with available capacity, materials, and inventory. The planner works closely with procurement, production, logistics, and suppliers to identify and resolve supply constraints. The position plays an important role in improving delivery performance, inventory efficiency, and supply chain reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain material and production planning schedules.
Analyze demand forecasts, customer requirements, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Ensure timely availability of materials, components, and resources.
Monitor supplier delivery performance and identify potential supply disruptions.
Coordinate with procurement teams to resolve material shortages and delays.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
Track production and supply chain KPIs and prepare planning reports.
Communicate changes in demand, priorities, and production schedules to relevant teams.
Support capacity planning and identify potential bottlenecks.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy and delivery performance.
