Job Description

PXP Energy Corporation is looking for an experienced Exploration Project Director to lead strategic oil and gas exploration programs from planning through execution. The role oversees multidisciplinary teams, manages project budgets, and ensures exploration objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and within schedule. The successful candidate will work with executive leadership, technical specialists, government agencies, and joint venture partners to maximize exploration success. Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and technical expertise in upstream exploration are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Lead exploration projects from concept development to execution.
Develop exploration strategies aligned with corporate business objectives.
Manage multidisciplinary technical teams and external consultants.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
Coordinate exploration activities with joint venture partners and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
Evaluate exploration risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
