Process Engineer

Job Description

The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, monitoring, and improving oil and gas processing operations.
The role focuses on maximizing plant efficiency, production reliability, product quality, and operational safety.
The engineer evaluates process performance and develops solutions for operational challenges and bottlenecks.
The position works with operations, maintenance, engineering, and HSE teams to improve overall facility performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and optimize oil, gas, and hydrocarbon processing operations.
Develop and review process flow diagrams and process engineering documentation.
Analyze plant performance and identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Recommend process improvements to increase production and reduce operating costs.
Perform process calculations, simulations, equipment sizing, and technical evaluations.
Investigate process deviations, operational incidents, and equipment performance issues.
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
Participate in plant modifications, debottlenecking, and optimization projects.
Ensure process designs and operations comply with applicable safety and environmental requirements.
Prepare technical reports, operating procedures, and engineering recommendations.
