Automotive Engineer
Job Description
The Automotive Engineer supports the development, diagnosis, testing, and technical improvement of automotive systems and vehicles.
The role involves analyzing vehicle performance, investigating technical issues, and developing engineering solutions that improve reliability, safety, and efficiency.
The engineer collaborates with technicians, manufacturers, suppliers, and other technical teams to resolve complex automotive problems.
Strong engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking, diagnostic capability, and knowledge of modern automotive technologies are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze automotive systems and investigate technical problems.
Support vehicle diagnostics and complex technical troubleshooting.
Review technical specifications, service information, and engineering documentation.
Perform testing and evaluation of vehicle components and systems.
Analyze test results and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
Support improvements to vehicle performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Work with workshop teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers on technical matters.
Maintain accurate engineering reports and technical documentation.
Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable safety and quality requirements.
Keep up to date with developments in electric, hybrid, connected, and conventional vehicle technologies.
Support technical training and knowledge sharing within the organization.
