Job Description

Nakilat is seeking a skilled Marine Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and performance of marine vessels and onboard engineering systems. The role ensures vessel reliability, safety, and compliance with maritime regulations. The Marine Engineer works closely with ship management teams to optimize vessel performance and minimize downtime. The position requires strong technical expertise in marine propulsion and auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain vessel propulsion and machinery systems.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues onboard vessels.
Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations.
Prepare engineering reports and maintenance records.
Support dry docking and vessel inspection activities.
Coordinate with ship crews and technical service providers.
Optimize fuel efficiency and equipment performance.
Participate in emergency response and safety drills.
Recommend improvements to engineering processes and systems.
