Job Description

The Data Center Facility Operations Engineer manages the daily operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical data center infrastructure. The role ensures uninterrupted operation of power, cooling, fire suppression, and environmental monitoring systems supporting mission-critical services. The engineer coordinates preventive maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with operational standards and safety regulations. This position plays a key role in maximizing data center uptime and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain data center electrical and mechanical systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure.
Ensure optimal operation of UPS, generators, HVAC, and cooling systems.
Monitor environmental conditions and facility monitoring systems.
Coordinate vendor maintenance and facility inspections.
Respond quickly to infrastructure alarms and emergency situations.
Maintain operational documentation and maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
