SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description

The SAP ABAP Consultant is responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining SAP applications to support business operations. The role involves working closely with functional consultants to design technical solutions, enhance SAP modules, and resolve system issues. The consultant ensures that SAP developments meet quality standards, business requirements, and performance expectations. Strong programming skills and experience with SAP development tools are essential for delivering efficient and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
Design and implement SAP enhancements using User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
Develop Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, and ALV Reports.
Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of SAP applications.
Optimize existing ABAP programs for better system performance.
Collaborate with functional consultants during SAP implementation and support projects.
Prepare technical documentation and provide post-deployment support.
