Job Description

The Avionics Systems Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft avionics systems to ensure safe and reliable flight operations. The role involves working with navigation, communication, flight control, and electronic monitoring systems while complying with aviation regulations and Gulf Air Group maintenance standards. The engineer performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, supports aircraft certification requirements, and coordinates with maintenance teams to minimize aircraft downtime. Strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft avionics systems.
Troubleshoot communication, navigation, and flight management systems.
Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic system faults.
Complete preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Update maintenance records and technical documentation accurately.
Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and company procedures.
Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and flight operations teams.
Support aircraft testing, certification, and return-to-service activities.
