CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

GNA Axles Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of precision axle and automotive components. The role involves setting up machines, monitoring machining operations, and ensuring products meet engineering specifications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CNC turning or milling machines and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This position requires a commitment to quality, productivity, and workplace safety while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC turning, milling, and machining centers according to production schedules.
Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per engineering drawings.
Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
Measure finished components using precision measuring instruments.
Identify and report machine malfunctions or production defects promptly.
Maintain production records and machine operation logs accurately.
Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and 5S workplace practices.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
