Production Operations Manager

Job Description

The Production Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing safe, reliable and efficient oil and gas production activities. The role manages operational performance while ensuring compliance with HSE, technical and regulatory requirements. The manager coordinates multidisciplinary teams and works with engineering and maintenance functions to maximize asset availability and production. Strong leadership, operational planning and risk-management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day production and field operations activities.
Ensure safe and reliable operation of production facilities and wells.
Monitor production targets, operational KPIs and asset performance.
Coordinate production, maintenance, engineering and technical teams.
Identify production constraints and implement optimization measures.
Manage operational risks and ensure effective emergency preparedness.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor equipment reliability, availability and maintenance activities.
Manage contractors and service providers involved in operations.
Prepare operational performance reports, budgets and improvement plans.
