Job Description

GEMS Education Abu Dhabi is hiring a qualified Chemistry Teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level students. The successful candidate will deliver challenging and engaging science lessons that develop students’ analytical and practical laboratory skills. The teacher will prepare students for external examinations while fostering scientific curiosity and academic excellence. This role requires strong subject expertise, effective classroom management, and commitment to continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver Chemistry lessons following the Cambridge curriculum.
Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
Conduct practical laboratory sessions safely and effectively.
Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessment materials.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
Support students with academic guidance and mentoring.
Participate in curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.
