Refinery Operator

Job Description

The Refinery Operator is responsible for safely monitoring and operating process equipment and systems at Gasum’s production facilities.
The role ensures that plant operations remain stable, efficient, and compliant with established operating procedures.
The operator monitors process parameters, performs inspections, and responds to operational deviations.
The position works closely with maintenance, engineering, and HSE teams to maintain safe and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor production and process equipment.
Monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates, levels, and other process parameters.
Perform routine plant inspections and identify abnormal conditions.
Follow operating, safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.
Start up, shut down, and adjust equipment according to approved procedures.
Report equipment faults, process deviations, and safety concerns.
Coordinate with maintenance teams during equipment repairs.
Maintain accurate shift logs and operational documentation.
Participate in emergency response and safety drills.
Support continuous improvement of plant reliability and operational efficiency.
