Energy Engineer

Job Description

The Energy Engineer supports the development, optimization, and efficient use of energy systems within Gasum’s operations.
The role analyzes energy consumption, production, and performance to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
The engineer may work with renewable gas, biogas, natural gas, and other energy-related technologies.
The position collaborates with technical and commercial teams to develop practical and sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze energy production, consumption, and efficiency data.
Identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
Develop energy-efficiency improvement proposals and technical solutions.
Support renewable-energy and low-carbon energy projects.
Monitor energy-system performance and investigate deviations.
Prepare energy calculations, technical studies, and performance reports.
Support energy audits and continuous-improvement programs.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and commercial teams.
Evaluate new energy technologies and potential applications.
Ensure energy-related activities comply with applicable technical and environmental requirements.
