Industrial Instrumentation Logic & Controls Engineer
Job Description
The Industrial Instrumentation Logic & Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing plant instrumentation and industrial control systems. The role supports production reliability through PLC, DCS, SCADA, and safety instrumented systems. The engineer collaborates with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot complex control issues and improve plant automation. This position contributes to operational safety, efficiency, and continuous process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain PLC, DCS, and SCADA control systems.
Troubleshoot instrumentation and automation failures.
Configure industrial control logic and process parameters.
Perform preventive maintenance on control equipment.
Support commissioning of new automation systems.
Review and improve process control strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety instrumented system standards.
Coordinate with vendors during system upgrades.
Prepare engineering documentation and technical reports.
Support plant shutdown and turnaround activities.
