Production Manager

Job Description

The Production Manager will oversee manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to required quality standards.
The role is responsible for production planning, workforce coordination, equipment utilization, productivity, and operational performance.
The manager will work with engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth production flow.
The position will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing activities.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely achievement of output targets.
Manage production teams, shift operations, manpower allocation, and workforce performance.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Monitor production KPIs including productivity, efficiency, downtime, scrap, and yield.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Work with quality teams to identify and resolve manufacturing quality issues.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze production problems and establish corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare operational reports and communicate production performance to senior management.
