Job Description

The Supply Chain & Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring uninterrupted availability of components for production. The role focuses on cost optimization, inventory planning, and procurement efficiency while maintaining quality standards. The engineer collaborates with production, quality, and logistics teams to support manufacturing schedules. The position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Develop procurement plans based on production requirements.
Source raw materials and engineering components from approved suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for material planning.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies.
Prepare procurement reports, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
