Procurement Specialist
Job Description
Job Purpose
Manage the procurement process for goods and services, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and purchase orders.
Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and service agreements with vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays and quality concerns.
Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare procurement reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
