Petroleum Engineer
Job Description
The Petroleum Engineer is responsible for evaluating and optimizing oil and gas field performance.
The role involves analyzing production data, reservoir behavior, well performance, and recovery opportunities.
The engineer works closely with drilling, reservoir, production, and subsurface teams to improve field economics.
The position also supports well planning, production optimization, and the implementation of enhanced recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze well and field production performance to identify optimization opportunities.
Develop production forecasts and evaluate field development scenarios.
Support well completion, stimulation, and workover planning activities.
Conduct well performance and nodal analysis for production optimization.
Evaluate artificial lift requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Collaborate with reservoir engineers on recovery and development strategies.
Monitor production trends and investigate operational performance issues.
Prepare technical reports, production studies, and engineering recommendations.
Support reserves evaluation and field performance reviews.
Ensure engineering activities comply with company technical and HSE standards.
